Facebook’s sister site, Instagram, has included the “reels” feature that is changing the way of the Instagram game and now Facebook! Reels consist of short videos that intrigue consumers at a higher level compared to your basic “picture post”. Reels can include music or handcrafted audio of your choosing and brings a more complex experience to your viewers! Reels allow you to showcase your brand in a new way and express yourself genuinely while allowing users to engage with your content in a fun way.

The newest way to engage in videoconferencing has now been brought to Facebook through “rooms”. These Messenger Rooms allow you to connect with and video chat with up to 50 people at one time, in one room – that’s insane! Forget Zoom meetings, Facebook rooms allow easy access to anyone that you are already connected and friends with on Facebook. The best part is that there is no time limit to the conference call, you have screen share capabilities and it is formatted specifically for business meetings!

Creating a story on Facebook is much easier than you might think! Here is the step by step process:

1. Log in to Facebook and click on your profile photo
2. Tap Create Story
3. Select a photo or video from your camera roll or take a current photo by pressing the Camera Icon

Once you have completed this process, you have full creative control to play around with the video or image to make it your own. You have the capability to create a Boomerang, add stickers and music, draw on the image or video, and apply filters – making this a great way to truly showcase your brand’s personality.


Facebook reels truly allow you to express your brand personality by creating original videos or recording a series of clips – here is the step by step process:

1. On the News Feed, click Create from the reels section
2. Add a video by either choosing one from your photo gallery or recording one in the moment
3. Add in audio, effects, text, captions, or a timer to your reel by selecting from the icons on the right-hand side of your screen
4. Add a description of your reel as you would a caption to a post
5. Reels are made public by default, but you have the capability to select an audience
6. Click Share Reel to publish

How easy is that? I bet you’re wondering why you haven’t done this before – now you can!


The newest, easiest way to set up a conference call with others step by step:

1. Launch the Facebook Messenger App
2. Click the People tab located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen
3. Select Create A Room
4. Select the users that you want to add to the room (if you want to connect with someone who doesn’t have a Facebook account, all you have to do is share the link with them)
